Computers, like any major piece of equipment, requires servicing and maintenance from time to time. This is particularly true in a business environment. Over time issues develop that, if left unaddressed, could develop into a major problem.
In addition you might have one or more servers providing critical functions and services to your users. Both the workstations and particularly the servers benefit from regular maintenance. In many small businesses the task of looking after your IT equipment is allocated as an extra to someone's normal duties. This results in maintenance quickly falling behind and a list that awaits that quiet moment growing longer and longer.

Most small businesses are not large enough to employ their own full time IT or administrator staff. This is where we come in. You can outsource your IT requirements by employing us to carry out your maintenance tasks for you. We are skilled IT technicians with a broad and expanding range of experience. We keep pace with new technologies and developments and can quite easily keep pace with the demands of your company without incurring you in training costs.

We provide three levels of Maintenance Agreements. The areas covered are agreed upon at the outset between us.

Basic Maintenance Agreement.

The basic maintenance agreement is the cut down version of our standard agreement (see below). This agreement is spread out over a quarter rather than a month. The costs vary and are different in each case depending on requirements.Lets take an example:    * One Server

    * 5 Workstations

The quarterly charge would work out at £450 and would equate to 7.5 hours of support during that period. Most of the support would be on site and covers emergencies and standard maintenance. In the event of a major failure we would expect to be on site within hours rather than days. Priority will be given to Standard Maintenance Agremments over a Basic Maintenance Agreement where two emergencies arise at once.

All fees exclude VAT and are payable quarterly in advance.

Standard Maintenance Agreement.

The standard agreement is similar to the basic agreement except that instead of being based on quarters the amount of support time allocated becomes monthly. Taking the above example for £1350 per quarter you would get 22.5 hours of support per quarter, again mostly on site. Time is normally divided equally between each month in a quarter.This is our recommended maintenance agreement as for the number of servers and workstations specified in our example this tends to work out as th optimum amount of time spent on site to comfortably cover all aspects of maintenance and user issues without incurring penalty charges for excess hours.

In the event of an emergency we would expect to be on site within a few hours, even cancelling any other appointments, to deal with your emergency.

Your selection Maintenance Agreement.

For this agreement you make the selection from the list of options that you require and chose the priority for the amount of time you wish us to spend on site. We will then work through your list or requirements as far as we can within the time alocated. We have a minimum spend requirement of £300 per quarter.All emergencies under this option will be by appointment at our earliest convenience.
